AIESEC

Organizing Committee President — Project I-Tech

AIESEC01/2019 – 12/2019

I led a dedicated team for “Project I-Tech”, organizing educational support for local government school students. I managed the project end to end — teaching sessions, team coordination and delivery — and learned the real value of leadership and community service.

Nishan has been a committed and dedicated individual that I have come across in AIESEC in University of Kelaniya. […] His knowledge in software engineering and computer studies is always admired within the academics and AIESEC organization too. Without a doubt, I highly recommend Nishan to any career opportunity that he would be a part of.

Internet Society

Internet Society Board Member

Internet Society, Colombo01/2020 – 12/2021

I worked to make the internet more accessible to everyone — organizing and managing websites for digital-literacy projects, and serving as a Resource Person at exhibitions and training programs to help close the digital divide.

I had the pleasure of working closely with Nishan on ISOC Sri Lanka over the past few years. I am continually impressed by their technical expertise and dedication to delivering high-quality results. […] Nishan is an excellent team player. […] I highly recommend Nishan for any software engineering/Management role.
